Makenzie - $18,000 CDN (+ GST to Canadian Residents only)15.2 hh grey ¾ Andalusian mare by Lepanto, out of Seville (sired by Furioso) Makenzie is really a spectacular horse. She is quite balanced for her young age and has good natural impulsion with ground covering movement. She already carries herself in a traditional dressage frame, and will surely to go into higher dressage levels with her pure gaits and lift in her stride. Even with this cadence and lift her gaits are smooth and easy to sit. Makenzie is very intelligent and wants to please her rider, something you can sense very well under saddle. She would be a real treat for the competitive rider who wants a horse that will take them a long way, and be a kind and willing partner. |

Rainbelle - $8,000 CDN, 2008 Canadian Warmblood filly by Warmblood stallion Regardez and out of a Don Frederico daughter! Wow, exquisite breeding on this filly! Fancy, but sensible, and great to handle! She is nicely short coupled, and handy with herself. Extremely well bred for dressage, Rainbelle will likely be a very competitive horse in the dressage arena. Teaching her basic ground manners was a snap! She took to handling, haltering, leading and tying in record time, with willingness and patience not usually seen in such a young horse. She should be quite simple to start under saddle given her superior temperament. Buying a quality youngster such as this will bring you the special quality of an imported horse, without the 30K cost! Big thanks to Judy Wood Equine artist and photographer for the shot of Rainbelle to left. |
