Otto possesses striking movement, outstanding engagement from behind and powerful movement with regular rhythm, ideal for dressage. This handsome gelding has shown excellent progress for his young age with both leads well-established and good transitions (even walk canter transitions). His leg-yield and shoulder in are also well established. He is a very willing and hard-working pupil, and should stand up well of the demands of higher level dressage.

Otto is sired by the famous stallion, Tjesse 400. This stallion has been competing very successfully at the top dressage levels for Friesian stallions in the Netherlands and is a dressage champion. He has a wonderful temperament and passes both his work ethic and his dressage talent to his offspring.

Otto shows a definite aptitude for dressage. He handles new situations well, and will likely do well in a show environment. Not spooky or difficult to ride, he has a lot of power from behind and natural uphill movement. Otto is well mannered and easy to handle. He is a real gentleman, with great character, and with more training will be a good amateur mount. Otto loads clips, baths and ties and is located near Moose Jaw SK.
