Sedona - $18,000 CDN 2006 bay CWHBA mare 16.2hh, sired by Silberpfeil. Sedona is a fun, straight forward and no stress ride. She is very sweet natured, level headed and doesn't have a spook. She is confirmed at Training Level and is schooling the leg yield, canter-walk-canter, and simple changes. She is well started over fences, easily doing grids, small h/j courses and cross country courses, working at 3' under saddle now and demonstrating a lot more scope in the jump chute. Sedona has a current passport and show experience in hunters, cross country eventing, and FEI 4 year old dressage classes.

Highlights of her fall show season include 2010 Alberta Provincial Championships USDF Materiale Reserve Champion as well as 3rd at the 2010 Alberta Provincial Championships FEI 4 year Old Test. Judges comments included: nice rhythm and cadence, expressive canter, and showing willingness with a good attitude. At Sedona's CWHBA young horse riding test judges awarded her all 8s for her gaits as well as an 8 for rideability. Judges from her CWHBA mare inspection commented that Sedona showed good rhythm and lengthening. At the cross country event she competed at pre-entry level and had excellent comments from the dressage judge, was bold on cross country and went clear during her stadium round. At her first hunter jumper show she was in the top 5 in every class.

A versatile mover, Sedona shows lots of freedom through the shoulder and back, loads of suspension and joint action while covering lots of ground with an absolutely lovely canter and an upper level trot. With her excellent temperament and work ethic this truly multi-talented mare will be at home in the hunter/jumper, dressage, or eventing disciplines. She will continue in a training program until she is sold. She has 2009 x-rays on file. Sedona is located near Calgary, AB.
